A pair of large weaving loom pulleys carved in the form of a turkey like bird, each 18 cm tall x 8 cm x 4 cm, excluding mount.
These ornately carved wood pulleys would originally have been suspended from the frame of the weaving loom, where they were used to control the cords which support the warp board.
Late 19th century.
